The owner
Stay In Panama is owned and run by Tai Muñoz. She has lived in Panama for 16 years, exploring the country and building the local connections she now introduces clients to.
The work is local introduction: property, long-term rentals, residency counsel, and relocation tours on the Pacific coast from Chame to Costa Esmeralda. Consultations are in English or Spanish, in person on the coast or by video.

A sense of the place
How a move actually starts
We narrow the country before we widen the paperwork. Most people who stay start with a lease, not a deed.
Who is moving, when, whether you need a visa, and whether you want to rent before you buy.
Coronado is convenient. Gorgona is quieter. Santa Clara is beach-first. The wrong town wastes a trip.
An attorney for residency. A serious look at title before money moves. A tour if you still need to feel the place.
In person on the coast, or on a video call if you are still abroad. English or Spanish.
The drive west
From the city you meet Chame first, then Gorgona, Coronado, San Carlos, and the Santa Clara end of the beach, including Costa Esmeralda.
01
The first Pacific district on the drive out of the city, with long quiet sand at Punta Chame.
02
A small beach community with the sand close by and Coronado a short hop away for errands.
03
The service town of the Pacific beach corridor: shops, clinics, food, and the social center.
04
Residential communities farther west, where the house matters as much as the beach.
05
A long open beach for people who want water and are willing to drive for some errands.
06
A beach community on the western stretch, close to Santa Clara, with a house rental on our list.
Residency, without the fog
A pension, a friendly-nations tie, a larger investment, proof you can support yourself, or a remote-work stay. The digital nomad visa is a season in Panama. It does not quietly become permanent residency.
